Helloo guys!
Am back!its December time!and its really cold and i think you might like to tackle winters with STYLE.
So, here is the short list of the top 14 FALL trends of 2014!!!!!
1) Robe Coats
Never thought you would be taking a sartorial cue from Hugh Hefner, did you? This season, the house coat makes a major comeback. Everyone from Altuzarra to Richard Chai showed toppers that could double as bathrobes.

2) Swinging '60s
The '60s are back in a major way. Maybe a bunch of designers got together and decided to binge-watch the latest season of Mad Menbecause we are seeing a lot of mini skirts, knee-high boots, and accessories that remind us of yesteryear. Whatever the reason, we’re happy that the '60s are swinging back our way.

Miu Miu, Valentino, Louis Vuitton, and Gucci |
3) Knit Wit
For fall knits, nothing is too big or too intricate. And that’s the way we like it. From cozy pants at Marc Jacobs and Céline that promise to alleviate the need for tights, to similarly warm varieties at Stella McCartney, the sweater is no longer relegated to the top half.

Céline, Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs, and Haider Ackermann |
4) Larger Than Life
I like the idea of the oversize trend sticking around for fall mainly because it’s the best way to hide an extra few pounds. If this terrible winter has taught me anything, it’s that I am unwilling to trek to the gym in the snow. All hail bigger sweaters, pants, and coats. The bigger the better!
|
Alexander McQueen, Céline, The Row, and Sacai |
5) Straight Jackets
Winter can make you feel crazy, am I right? Well, luckily, Alber Elbaz and company have thought of a creative way to keep you both warm and secure. Our arms might be pinned down to our bodies, but at least we'll look amazing. Dexterity is so last season.
|
J.W. Anderson, Marni, Acne, and Lanvin |
6) Norse Code
Fair Isle prints, chunky sweaters, and oversize hats remind us of worn leather couches, fireside chats, and sum grilled food !yaay!
|
Emilio Pucci, Tommy Hilfiger, Rag & Bone, and Burberry |
7) URBAN CHIC
To me, these clothes say, “I’m ready for anything"—even the zombie apocalypse! These are clothes for the tough girl fighting her way through the undead—er, the urban streets.
|
Alexander Wang, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Kenzo, and Chanel |
8) Astrakhan
Astrakhan is a pretty underrated fur. Made from sheep, and characterized by its tiny swirling pattern, this fabric is slowly taking over the runways. Shown in all its cuddly glory at Thom Browne, Céline, and Tom Ford.

Céline, J. Mendel, Thom Browne, and Tom Ford |
9) Dresses Over Pants
Who wants to just wear a dress anymore? No one. It’s just too easy. For next season, designers are challenging us to wear pants and a dress.
|
Céline, Balenciaga, Kenzo, and Giorgio Armani |
10) Country
Let’s say it together: Yeehaw for the cowboy trend for fall. Bring on the rodeo. Cushnie et Ochs and Dion Lee prove that ranching is pretty sexy.
|
Concept Korea, Kenneth Cole, Tibi, and Cushnie et Ochs |
11) Muppet Babies
Shearling dominated almost all the runways this fashion month. It is interesting to see how many designers chose to work in this skin over more traditional furs and leathers.
|
Prada, MSGM, and Tom Ford |
12) Extreme Turtlenecks
As someone who is always cold, I am so thrilled to see the development of the turtleneck into something that more closely resembles a sock for your whole head.
|
Helmut Lang, Thakoon, Sally LaPointe, and 3.1 Phillip Lim |
13) Fur Real
Fur is pretty inevitable for fall fashion. This season, designers experimented with new shapes. In Milan, Karl Lagerfeld framed Cara Delevingne in a Fendi hood; in New York, Vfiles demonstrated that we shouldn’t be afraid of a bold-as-it-gets coat, a sentiment echoed by front row showgoer Rihanna.
|
Fendi, Vfiles, Lanvin, Dolce & Gabbana |
14) Sneakers
Your feet can rejoice because they are officially getting a break from heels. Designers have declared sneakers as the footwear of the moment. Hopefully models will have surer footing down the runway moving forward. That would really make things go a lot faster.
I hope i helped you all:)
Just remember i love you all <3
